A growing SaaS leader in the AdTech space, looking to expand into the markets outside of North America.
THE CHALLENGE
The company goal was to double the company’s engineering headcount within 12 months.
Due to the complex challenges their product solved, finding talent with strong technical capabilities with the right culture fit was extremely difficult. In essence, they were looking for top-tier talent, whom typically had competing offers from MAANG-level companies.
On top of that, even as a 200+ employee company, the CTO was still managing majority of the engineering hiring process from start to finish.

Wanting to protect the CTO’s time, Melvin and the team ensured every candidate submitted fit the technical and cultural fit, along with being prepared and excited to chat with the client.
Using an iterative approach, Plus10 ensured client feedback was incorporated and any new requirements was checked off as we screen new candidates. We also adapted as the company grew, working with new internal talent acquisition teams and continuing to adapt to the client’s new processes.
THE RESULT
Over the span of 16 months, we successfully placed 19 candidates, including 3 people managers, 2 Tech Leads, and 14 senior level individual contributors. From 2021 to 2023, Plus10 provided the majority of the new hires for their engineering team.
The CTO got time back with leadership hires we presented, putting their energy back into strategic projects and scaling the company.
Candidates placed are still with the company, many of which have been promoted, work on new initiatives, and contribute to the company’s thought leadership.

A US-based tech startup developing a robust, modern platform.
THE CHALLENGE
The executive team was preparing to raise their next round of funding. In order to secure the round and continue scaling without losing momentum, they needed to scale up their engineering team with top talent.
But the CTO was consistently disappointed with the poor quality of candidates provided by past recruiters, and hiring dragged on for months.
