We start with an exploratory call to understand what you’re looking for. As your startup recruiter, we first work to understand your complete hiring picture: the techstack you’re using, product you’re building, founder values, and company culture. This informs our assessment of potential candidates.

Based on the techstack and framework you’re working with, we review candidates based on their technical skill set first.
Problem-Solving: We first vet candidates’ problem solving skills and approach to decision-making. We dig in their past roles to understand their responsibilities and job scope, so we can evaluate the impact they’ve made.
Technical Skill Set and Relevance: We ask tailored questions to understand each candidates’ experience working on enterprise products, as well as with distributed systems, and the level of scalability they’ve achieved. While our clients typically manage the deep vetting of technical capabilities, we conduct preliminary interviews to understand their ability with the techstacks and frameworks you use.

At this stage, we dig into the meat of their technical experience. We deep-dive into their career history, reviewing projects they’ve worked on, their involvement and role in each, and what skills (hard and soft) they developed in the process.
